Overview of Base
The Bible Archaeology, Search & Exploration (BASE) Institute is dedicated to the quest for archaeological evidence to help validate to the world that the Bible is true, and that it represents an accurate, non-fictional account of God’s will to bring the people of this world back into a relationship with Him.
Bible Research and Exploration
For thousands of years, the Holy Bible has been respected as a historically-accurate document. It has been regarded as the faithful account of God's attempt to reestablish a loving relationship with mankind. It is only in the last few generations that the veracity of the Scriptures has come into serious question.
BASE exists to reaffirm the Bible as our reliable message of hope from God to mankind. We acknowledge it as our reliable standard of truth. Using the Bible and other historic sources, coupled with scholarly research supported by archaeological evidence, BASE endeavors to dispel the notion that the Bible is a collection of fables and legend.
The staff and volunteers at the BASE Institute believe that conducting responsible, modern, archaeological research also includes providing care and demonstrating concern for the people who live in the area of these archaeological missions.
Bible Research Opportunities
BASE depends primarily on the efforts of volunteers to accomplish Bible and historic document research.
