Focus on the Family | New Zealand

It is with the utmost gratitude and delight I write this letter to say thank you for an incredibly successful ten-day ministry stint in New Zealand. During the time you were here you spoke to, and inspired, probably 5000+ people, and there were so many decisions for Christ we have not been able to keep count.
Bob, your unique blend of missionary zeal, impeccable scholarship and humanitarian love, genuineness and humility is God Given! ... Bob, in every way you have gone above and beyond the call of duty for us and have been absolutely selfless - the true mark of a Christ-like disciple.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your presentations here last week. I saw the Thursday morning – Paul’s anchors, the Saturday night – Mt. Sinai, and the Sunday night – Ark presentations. I found all of them to be very well presented and extremely well related to Bible relevance in our lives. You did good. I bought the DVD about the Arc and a couple of your books also.

Best wishes, good luck

Do you have plans on seeing Bob Cornuke, Biblical Investigator and International Explorer, when he comes your way? If not, believe me, you will certainly regret it.  Make your plans right now for your family to attend his presentations.

Having had the privilege of hearing him twice at the Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, I can assure you it will be an unforgettable experience.

The church was packed.  What was surprising was there were little children who were listening and watching the film, and of course, teenagers blending in with many adults.

I believe this experience of hearing the Bible verses with the pictures shown and the talks about the adventures given at the same time, has made this the most powerful program we have had this year at our church.

How could anyone not be blessed by sharing Bob Cornuke’s deep love of proving truth of the Bible.

Last evening will provide an everlasting event - your presentation is great - your mission sacred.  May God continue to bless your research and keep you safe until the answers to mysteries that you seek are solved.

I have been blessed by knowing men who change the course of human history - not boasting, just eternally thankful.  Last evening added to my treasury of memories.
Thanks again, and may God bless you, your family, and your mission.

So, you are right to say we don't know if it is Noah's Ark, but you are also right (in my opinion) to present the evidence as you found it, and say, "if it is not Noah's Ark, what is it?  And how can we explain all the evidence suggesting it is Noah's Ark, if it isn't?"

And, I think your point about "probability" rather than "proof," is a strong one.  I'd keep hammering at that.  "Maybe it isn't, but what if it is?  How would that change your relationship with God?"

Your work is captivating many people and generating valuable dialogue.  It seems to me like a holy calling.  I still get chills when I ponder your finds on Mt. Jabel al-alez (I know that's not spelled correctly).  And I am almost breathless when I think that that sight in Iran might be the actual signt of where the ark came to rest.  People have read about that for thousands of years.

So... I don't really have anything to say except, be encouraged, and don't let the naysayers get you down.  And keep presenting the idea of "probability" and challenging people on how it would change their lives if it were true.  There are many like me and the men who went on your trip who admire what you are doing, and think it is very valuable.  It keeps people thinking about important things, and you help constuct enough "probability" as you say, to make people think about the accuracy of the Bible.  Then, if "facts" are true, maybe the spiritual message is as well.  You are a blessing to many.  Keep on keeping on.

Best wishes,
